Re: 1995 ZR1 Tires
I had my '93 ZR1 judged with the original tires so not an issue. I believe the 30/30 for tires is for 5 tires (4 road tires and 1 spare) = 6pts. each for correct mfr. and style and 6 pts each for condition. The separate line is for the Spare Wheel and date code. Reading the tire DOT date code on tires that the car is sitting on is very difficult, and therefore the judging guide does not call for judging the date code on the tires.- Top

Re: 1995 ZR1 Tires
I was just wondering what the judging manual said about judging the date codes on the road tires, If the judging manual said the dates codes are judged and if the the tires are a later production date, thus that would be a 20% deduct, thus 6 points deduct for the date.- Top

Originality judging for Tires is via Standard Deduction #3. Deductions of 10%, 20%, 30%, 60%, 75%, and 100% are based on Brand, Size, Construction, Tread Width, Tread Pattern, etc. C.D.C.I.F. does not apply when the area is covered by one of the Standard Deductions.
Judging Reference Manual Section 4 (Standard Deductions) #3 Tires - 1975 and newer is where you want to look.
