Color of Bottom Alternator Bracket on a 67 L79?

Can someone confirm the proper color of the bottom alternator bracket (bolts to water pump and exhaust manifold and supports alternator from underneath) on a 67 327/350 please? The TIM/JG 6th edition says "engine color" which of course would be orange. I have the 7th edition manual on order. Orange doesn't seem correct to me. The bracket is currently satin black and all of the cars I've found pictures of are also black. Maybe all of them are wrong, too. Thanks.

I don’t have the AIM with me but are the lower alt brakects called out with part numbers in the AIM under RPO L79 or in the front of the AIM if they are not listed in the AIM then they where installed at the engine plant so therefore engine color

The lower alternator bracket was installed at the engine plant (Flint) and was painted orange. The upper bracket was installed at St. Louis and was semi-gloss black.

Post #2 and #3 are good the only thing I would add is the brace was hanging down because the exhaust manifolds were not assembled to the engine at time of painting. So some of that brace could have missed areas of paint and or runs of paint.
