63 Cluster from A/C car

I needed to take the tachometer out and have it fixed. I figured I would clean everything and get it ready for the tachometer when I get it back. Has anyone seen these marking on their clusters from an A/C car?

I have not seen this on C60 clusters before.
AC could also be someones initials. (Andy C.)

You are probably right as I know the cluster was redone about 20 years ago. I'll get out the acetone and a rag.

AC stands for AC Delco in Flint where the clusters were assembled. It has nothing to do with air conditioning.

Actually I think David is correct. It's the initials of the owner prior to me. The Cluster restorer must have marked his parts as not to confuse them with another customers. I've disassembled many clusters over the years from NON-A/C cars and have never seen any makings on the inside such as that.

The paint or colors on that cluster back is not correct. Yes, it has been restored and painted some time in it's life.

JR, yep I agree. It's almost like a camo color.
