    Pictured below are 3 versions of the "phillips pan head screw" cover. Note that the first one carries the same Holley part number (34R-2178) as the cover in JR's "countersunk clutch head" cover.

      Just a terminology correction (of the screws in this post) the often spoken of Phillips screws are fillister head not pan head. Fillister is a tall smaller diameter where as a pan head is low profile with a larger diameter.

      No foul, just information sharing.

      Looked at my early 67 #440 Holley 3810 and the accelerator pump casting is as Michael photo shows in post #7 w/fillster head phillips screws. But my screws are not so goldish in color, more plain looking. In fact everything plated is more plain looking.

      And it does have lock washers as Michael mentions.
