Couple of "part" questions on my L36 display engine

Couple of parts questions for my L36. On the spark plug plastic wire separators I have yet to find any
that will fit the holders on my nos chrome valve covers. The ones I got are not wide enough to fit w/o
filing down the holders on my V/C. Does anybody make the correct size to fit?

Still looking for the metal inlet fuel line and vacuum metal return line connector. This is the holder that couples the
two lines together. It is below the inline fuel filter. Any ideas where to find? OK-Thanks in advance--Larry

Just to clarify. What year L36 had chrome valve covers?

All 1968 and 1969 L-36 were equipped with chrome valve covers.

I would think that someone has the correct retainers, most likely Dr. Rebuild. If not, look for a pair of NOS GM #2977995.

As far as the clip goes, if Dr. Rebuild doesn't have it, probably no one will.

FWIW: Just a quick update. Have found a clip that works very well that "couples" the two fuel related steel
lines. It is AMK #B-10974; not sure how it compares to the original as far as looks are concerned. Picture below.
Not sure where I can find original plastic spark plug wire separators that will fit on the NOS chrome V/C holders
w/o filing or grinding some of the metal off. Thanks-Larry
P.S. Perhaps Terry M. or Gary B. could chime in with some idea's.

I am not a big block expert by any stretch of the imagination but...
I have set of 69 valve covers here and the tabs measure 7/8" wide and the wire separators I have in an envelope from Paragon fit them nicely.
So, my question back is.... how wide are your stands?

Gary: Mine are a "hair" over 7/8". Not sure where I got the wire separators that I have; I know they have been
here a long time. Maybe I try to get some from Paragon that might be a little wider then the ones I got. Thanks for
              the response. Larry
