Kelsey tires on a C-1

I have an old set of Coker tires that were three years old when I got them (still wrapped in plastic) in 2007. I would like to know how close the 6:70x15 Kelsey one inch W.W judge as far as standard deduction. Took an old Coker to have it balanced and when broken down the tire came apart. The tire attendant then checked the DOT and date code on the other tires and said he could not balance them as he thought it was unsafe. Anyone else have issues with "OLD" Coker's.

I did not have the problem you describe but was VERY unhappy with the cracking in the whitewall on a set of Cokers. I did not use them again. Don H.

13-year old, or more tires should be trashed because of exactly what you experienced! Don't judge C1's very frequently but would imagine the Kelsey's would have same deducts as the Coker's, using standard deduction guidelines

I had the same issue with my 59 big WW and very hard to balance. Trashed and I'm going to buy a set of good radials to drive on.
