C2 what parts where never available in service

As the tittle states what parts used in production of mid years or other cars where never available in service? I often wonder at swap meats when you see a interment cluster per say is that one less car on the road or could you order one over the counter?

Keith - It would be a challenge, I'm sure. But, you could compare the p/ns listed in the specify year's AIM & then see if they are listed in the appropriate "CHEVROLET" "Parts and Accessories Catalog" & also check the "CHEVROLET" "Parts History" & check & see when the Part # was removed from service, transferred, or substituted. That will keep you busy. Pete
