And to add to Don's statement. The Triple Crown thing is not awarded by the NCRS! But you have to have a NCRS Top Flight to be qualified for one. Receiving a Duntov Award takes more than just showing up at a glitter meet!

You have to have a NCRS Top flight and a Bloomington gold to qualified for Triple Crown not just show up at a glitter meet ?? and then go thur a rigorous Performance just like the PV does, so what is the different from the PV test compare to the Triple Crown test, there are both tested by top judges from both fields and basically the same test sheets .

I think your information is incorrect. The PV or Performance Verification test is nothing like the judging at Bloomington or MCACN, simply not the same. for that matter Flight judging is not the same as Bloomington Gold or MCACN judging, different numbers, different questions, different number of judges, etc.

Okay, having gone through all three processes and including a PV, there is no operations testing for the Triple Diamond at the MCACN event. Also, their judging is not as in-depth as the NCRS. NCRS judging is the most comprehensive judging process of them all. Having said this, by the time a Corvette get to be a Triple Diamond contender, it pretty much a formality of the process. Same thing for the Tri-Power Award.

i was trying to understand the earlier days Triple Crown gold testing when it was under Chevy/Vettefest Nationals, they went thru a rigorous performance testing and top name judging on both fields in those days , i know it call Triple Diamond today and it pretty much a formality process like your saying.
