    Mike,

Volunteer Vette in Knoxville, TN. is the manufacturer of 66 Corvette shifters. They can be reached at 1 865 521-9100. The part you need is part number SH005 and lists for about $230.00. It is complete with instructions, adjuster gauge and mounting bolts.

Thanks Joe. Have you had any experience with the shifter, positive or negative?

Thanks Michael for posting this. I've wondered what the weld on the pin was for and if it was done after factory assembly myself. I've got a few shifters in stock and they all have this weld.

          Good info!

              Hi Mike,

I've always admired Trophy Blue. Stunning color. Another awesome color that was '66 only is Mossport Green. There's a guy down the road that's been entertaining releasing his lifelong grip on his Mossport Green L-79 coupe. Hmmmmm.

My '66 is an original Nassau Blue convertible. She's been my lifelong project. I'll get serious with her in a few years after I retire. For now she rests on her dolly looking like a shiny Easter egg.

Take care and it's good to compare our '66 convertibles! Mike

Beautiful! I’m struck at how similar the color on yours, while it’s in the shop is to mine when it’s in the sunshine. Lighting makes all of the difference. Mine looks very silvery under flourescent lights but the blue comes through in the sun. It will be interesting to compare it to others when it gets back on the road.

                  You're right Mike,

Others have commented on my shade of Nassau Blue. But she's actually much darker under natural light. She sits under 6 sets of dual 8 foot 110 watt high output fluorescent lights. When I open a garage door at night cars have accidents, roosters crow etc.....

Here's a shot of both of the "Girls". Take care, Mike
