Missing Bezel Clips on 1963 Headlight Buckets

Thanks again to everyone on the advice to restore the existing hardware for the headlights buckets where possible.

I have noticed that one of the buckets is missing two of the clips that secure the bezel (the clips are supposed to be riveted to the headlight bucket). The other bucket is complete. Does anyone know if there are repros for these, retrieve from a "junk" pair of buckets, or try to fabricate them. I really don't have time to do an extensive search.

Dare I ask where your info about the clips being "riveted" comes from? I realize you're "out of time""......

Are you talking about the two clips at the bottom of this bucket picture, along the horizontal longer edge ?

Yes - those are the ones. The bucket has had some repair done in the past and the clips are missing.

Those slide clips should be available at any body shop..just a slide clip..take the screw with you to get the right size thread...peter ...

I'm afraid I took the buckets to my shop this morning to see if they can fabricate the clips. I tried finding other photos but I'm attaching a picture of bezels so show the holes that the clips fit through to help secure the bezel. Sorry for the confusion.

For what its worth - I have an early '63 bucket that appears to have never had the clip - no hole, no rivet, no clip.
