'68 Hood latch reinforcement

'68's had an issue with cracking around the RH hood latch, as a fix an additional reinforcement plate was added in '69, not sure what model years included this plate.
A bulletin (68-T-68 is in current judging guide) was issued to ad this reinforcement to '68's that show cracking in the area, which mine does.
Looking for a source of this plate, doubt that anyone reproduces it so perhaps from a '69 or later (?) that has been parted out?
Have tried Big City Corvettes.

The reinforcing plate was used from 1969 through 1976. The 1969 plate, GM #3953071, was discontinued in January, 1971. It was replaced for SERVICE by the 1970-76 plate, GM #3976456. The latter was discontinued without supersession about 20 years ago.

The plates differ in that the 3976456 has a 90 degree bend on the front edge of the bracket which adds extra strength and 2 additional attachment points. Obviously, the 3976456 is the stronger and better of the two plates. Either of the two plates could be retrofitted to a 1968.

Since versions were used on every car from '69 thru '76 it'll make one easier to find...hopefully!
