    Do you have to pr-load the front way bar during the installation?

      A c2 sway bar is just mounted it has no means of preload. Unless you just want to smash down the cushions with the nut but even that is limited.

        Anti-roll bars should have NO torsional preload... suggest you tighten down the link nuts first... '63 AIM says to run them to the end of the threads and torque to 9-12 lb-ft, but verify with your year AIM.

        Before you torque the link nuts get the pillow block bushing retainer bolts started, and after you torque the link nuts, torque the pillow block retainer bolts.

        Make sure you do the above with the car sitting on it's wheels at normal ride height.
