1966 BB Fan Shroud Rivet?

Trying to help a friend restore a 1966 427. The 66 TI and Judging Guide says to look for a rivet that is used to hold two of the sections of the fan shroud together. They are normally bonded BUT it is unclear if a rivet was also used. Some say it was a factory 'addition', some say it was a post assembly 'fix'. What say thee?

Factory? TSB? Assembly line fix? "Bubba" fix? Thank you.

Rivet was factory installed.

I have seen it on original BB. Weather or not it was on all BB I can't say.

Right, that the concern. Was it installed on ALL BB shrouds? Would hate to install in on a NOS shroud to then find not all of them had it on the assembly line.
