      Jace,

      This has been discussed before and the hubcaps had the spinner applied in a fixture so the spinners were all oriented the same. The spinner is an odd shape and fitted into the fixture only one way and the valve stem hole oriented the cap itself into the fixture.

          There is a photo in the manual. Checkered flag to the valve stem.

              Attached is '69 hubcap drawing. Note the valve stem orientation to the spinner.

              Don't know if the hubcaps matched the drawing or the engineer's concept of symmetrical balance on the drawing.
