Kenton, The Queen city chapter is having a meet Oct. 20th. Take your car there and have it judged, just a easy cleaning and go from there.
Also you can edit your own posts anytime you need to. Look for the Edit button on the right bottom.

This would be a nice opportunity for you to get some "eyes" on your car. One suggestion before you go. Get some lacquer thinner and a rag and clean the VIN pad on the engine...back to bare metal. Don't use anything abrasive to help remove the paint...you don't want to do anything to hurt the original broach marks on the pad. Time and patience and you will get the pad nice and clean. Keep us updated on this wonderful car!

There are 4500 total points in Flight Judging - 80 of those 4500 relate to cleanliness. This is NOT a cleaning contest. You have a 1967 Judging Guide - read and gently clean only those areas requiring evaluation of a part number - (distributor band, engine VIN pad, etc).

DO NOT disassemble anything to clean it. Get a copy of 1953-1996 Judging Guide and read section on preparation for BOWTIE judging. Until you have your car evaluated don't do anything more.

Looks like a very nice car, enjoy.
