Want to purchase new springs for my 67 427/400 with no a/c, read a lot of info about car not sitting correct with new springs. Can anyone recomend a source for the correct replacement springs?

How do you know that you need new springs? I don't necessarily recommend replacing them just as a matter of routine or just because "they're old".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Thanks Joe, I usually do not replace springs, but this one is sagging down over the wheel, rear is a little off but that's to be expected. Still need the best source, I am thinking Long island?- Top

I think that Long Island would be a good source. Also, Eaton Detroit Spring. Eaton has the GM Restoration Parts license to reproduce the original spring. Of course, as with all GM Restoration Parts, adherence to original specs is always suspect. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

The original springs for this application, GM #3888250, are long-discontinued and difficult to find.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
