Below are some pictures of the header from my 70 Convertible.
Pictures 1 and 2 below show a hole that was used to insert a single screw to hold the tack strip in roughly the middle of the header. Should there be a screw? The other interesting thing is the one tab was under the tack strip as shown in photo 2 along with the hole. The tack strip is clearly original so must have been that way from the factory. Should there be a tab where the screw was used? There is no evidence of a tab by the hole. There is barely surface rust on the header and ALL other tabs are intact and perfectly good.


Photos 3 and 4 below show top fabric under the rivets that attach the header to the folding frame. Should there be fabric under the rivets?
