    WCFB Carb Color

Can someone tell me what the correct color should be on the main body of the Carter WCFB. Everything i read sounds like it is the standard Chromate finish but pictures I"ve seen they look more greenish than say a Holley Carb.

    Thanks

I'm not an expert, but I typically a greenish body with a more silver air horn.

Does the JM weigh in on this?

These are a pair of Bob Kunz freshly restored WCFBs -- but I've seen the color vary from other rebuilders...from a goldish tint to nearly an olive drab -- perhaps because of aging..... The second pic (supposedly restored) shows a variant....
