    '62 radiator inlet question

Recently observed two different '62 aluminum radiators with inlets having 3150896 cast into them (as opposed to the accepted 3150895). Both wore 3150916 part numbers. One was an early type radiator with the aluminum tag screwed to the top (62A) and one was the later type with the part number stamped into the radiator top.

Did any original '62 radiators have a cast aluminum inlet with 3150896?

    Re: '62 radiator inlet question

After researching a little further I'm thinking that the latest '61/'62 TIMJG has a typo on this listing it at 3150895 instead of 3150896.

My original radiator top inlet casting was aluminum. Bought replacement OTC at Chevrolet many years ago and it was not cast aluminum.
