Re: Warped fuel bowls and leaks.
Daniel,
I may be able to help you out. Let me see what I have on my shelf when I get home from work. I may have a pair of fuel bowls for a 2818. Send me a an email with your phone number and I will send some pictures of what I have. If they are correct, you can give them a try to see if it solves your leak issues.
Regards,
James West

Re: Warped fuel bowls and leaks.
Believe it or not, you may be able to bake the fuel bowl to straighten it out. I have used "C" clamps to tighten down Model A carbs back to square. If you had a small piece of flat steel, you could clamp down the fuel bowl and heat up in the oven at 350 degrees. Leave in about 45 minutes and tighten down as necessary, then heat some more. Let cool down. Do not submerge in water. Make sure the bowl is flushed real good with water before baking. It worked for me. Just tell your wife you are baking cookies.- Top
