2018 NCRS Board of Directors Elections

The online voting for the 2018 Board of Directors' elections is now open. This year's election cycle is for Regions I, II, and III. Your NCRS mailing address must be in Region I, II, or III to vote in the 2018 elections.

The candidates are:

Region I: Mark Tulley

Region II: John Perrette and Shannon Urton

Region III: Sue Strawmyre

If your NCRS mailing address is in one of the above Regions you may vote online or via the printed ballot in the latest Driveline issue which must then be mailed to me at the address printed on the ballot.

The voting period ends on October 31st, 2018. If you wish to vote online, you must do so by midnight on October 31st, 2018. If you choose to use the paper ballot, your postmark must be on or before October 31st, 2018.

If your NCRS address is in one of the above Regions please take the time to become familiar with the candidates and vote!

How do I know if my vote was completed?

I keep getting the same ballot page with my selection still showing.

Dan,

email notice is sent when you've completed your voting.

You might need to use another browser such as Chrome and/or clear browser history and cache.

Thanks, I am using chrome. I did as you suggest regarding clearing history and cache to no avail. Same result.

Note that to vote, go to the lists of links at the bottom of this page.
See the link near the bottom in the leftmost column for 'Online Election Voting' and click it to vote.

Members can vote in Regional Elections or Chapter Elections or other Elections based on their State or residence or chapter affiliation by following these instructions:
1. Logon to this link with your NCRS Technical Discussion Board Username and Password Vote
2. Click on “radio button” to select Regional Director Voting Members will be presented with their specific Region’s election based upon their State listing in the NCRS membership database mailing address. Members not residing in Regions IV, V and VI will receive this message; “No Voting’s are currently running”.
3. Click on “radio button” to vote for the Regional Director candidate of your choice. The candidate’s name you have selected to vote for will be highlighted. If so desired, selection changes may be made before clicking on the “Vote” button.
4. Click on the “Vote” button to submit the vote.
5. An option to print your vote will be offered.
6. An e-mail notification will be sent to the e-mail address in the NCRS database to “Thank You for Voting” and will list the candidate voted for.

Dan,

Since I am in Region I, I went in to vote and also test the system after I set up the three elections. I had the same problem (whether you print out your vote or not). It never acknowledged my vote, I was able to hit the "Vote" button again, and I received no email. As Secretary, I also can go into the NCRS report generator to keep track of the vote numbers. There were no votes counted so mine did not get in.

I have submitted a help desk ticket. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Just received a reply to my help desk ticket regarding the apparent problem with the NCRS voting system. The IT staff is on it but it may take a couple of days to analyze and fix the problem.

Thanks Larry. I was able to print the vote as well. I was able to continue to vote. But not one vote confirmation email and I have tried several times now.

I'm sorry Gary, your right.

I made three attempts with the same results as previously.

Following selecting the Vote button the print notice appears. Selecting print or cancel the page blinks. No change from there and no confirmation email.

Almost the same as previously with the exception of the rapid refresh of the page upon clicking on the vote button.
