64 Corvette Differential plug

My plug never had a gasket or posi tag and was dripping a bit. So I ordered the leather gasket and tag. I noticed the plug has a small letter "P" stamped in one corner. I need to know if this is the correct order of assembly. (gasket-tag-plug).

Mine leaked until I used the thread sealant in addition to gasket etc.

I use a rubber O ring - it works, no leaks. I l also have the same "posi" tag shown in your picture - I have the O ring where you show the gasket. I would suspect that the combination of an O ring and thread sealant would work great.
