    Sill Plate Screw Size GM# 9414766

    Can someone tell me the correct screw size for the sill plates for my 65 roadster? I took out what I believe to be originals that were #10 chrome. I bought replacements that were #8 with #6 head. The AIM shows part # 9414766 but I cant find a cross reference to what size that is. Thanks Tim

      According to AMK products, a GM #9414766 screw (which is the correct part number for your sill plate) is a #10-16X1". Seems kinda long, but take a look at the attached and see what you think. Scroll down to page number 84, item #9.

                  GM #9414766 is a Type AB 1" chrome-bright nominal screw size 10, nominal head size 8, threads per inch 16
