As the title reads. The question, is there a secret to installing this plug? Before I attempt it, I just wanted to hear from those who have put one in. Thank you.

Re: '67 Soft Plug For Steering Box End
Clean the bore good, place some ultra gray in the bore, lay in the plug, tap it evenly in place. I use a brass rod to tap it every 90*, once in place use the rod on the center and hit it a couple of times to spread it. You should be able to reuse the original plug, I almost always do- on 100's of them.- Top

Re: '67 Soft Plug For Steering Box End
Gary,
Thank you for your response. I, unfortunately, was asking about the incorrect part. The plug that I need to know about is the one at the end of the steering linkage that's inserted to block off the extra hole when power steering is used from the factory.Leif
