    Special Paint Code 1971

    Looking at a tank sticker on a 1971 Corvette. Upper right hand corner indicates it was a COPO Order with Special Paint. There are two codes on the tank sticker for paint, 1VZP3AA and 1D001PA but it doesn't call the paint by color/name. Can anyone help identify the paint color? Thanks in advance for your help.

      What color is on the Trim Tag.? Is it SPEC. ?

          It says "Special". We think the car was Black???

              It could have been delivered to the dealer in PRIME. You will need some proof on that one, whatever it turns out to be.

                  An automotive paint supply house will be able to answer this question.
