Re: Ken Naber of Naber Restoration in Houston

What a sad, sad happening. In the 80's it was common knowledge that they built Corvettes in two places, St Louis, MO and Houston, TX. I don't mean that in any negative context at all, the Naber restorations were state of the art before anyone even knew what state of the art meant, had it not been for the intestinal fortitude and effort of Ken and Gary the Corvette Hobby might have gone a different direction. Every restoration I have commissioned that was not done in house was touched by them at some point and we never had to take anything back. A consummate gentlemen, Ken we will miss you!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Words cant express the grief that Gary must be feeling, he's worked side by side with his brother his whole life, from the small Gulf Station to the inner sanctum of Naber Restoration they were inseparable, Our thoughts and prayers are with you my friend.

              RIP Ken

On the CF someone said that he had a heart attack. Ken & Gary restored some of the rarest corvettes around & judged a coupe of my Corvettes at BG in the day. AS Roy said new corvettes were made in ST. Louis & Ken & Gary shop.
