    63 electrical issue

Pulled the cluster on my 63. Did some wiring. Put the cluster back. The green indicators for the directional signals light when I put the parking lights on. Are they supposed to?

Nope, when you put on the directional can you see another dash light blink. If yes, you put the bulbs in incorrectly.

You probably plugged the turn signal indicator bulbs into spots used for the dash lights. If you activate a turn signal (either left or right), you will probably see that indicator bulb blink somewhere in the dash lights. Once you determine which bulb flashes when a turn signal is activated, plug it into the spot for the correct signal indicator.

If you see gray wires going to the bulbs at the turn signal indicator lights you've done exactly what the others have said above....

          if you have the instrument
bulbs in the correct sockets, it could be a ground feed back due to poor ground on one or more of park lights, i have run into that a few times

The directional indicator light wires are light blue and dark blue. All the instrument illumination wires are gray. Just locate the blue wires and get those bulbs back into the holes that match the directional indicators.

Finally had the time to work on the vette. The problem was ground feedback from the parking lights. Thanks for the help!
