We have all seen the pictures of St Louis workers buffing paint. We've heard about the weight of the buffers as well as noting the height of the cars affecting where they were buffed and the extent of the buffing. It would seem that Ford had a better idea in a much earlier time period.

Actually impressed with the shine/reflection on that '63. It may be just a publicity shot and not representative of the masses. Certainly not the crappy orange-peel that barely reflects as some would have you believe is TFP.- Top

Amen. But the orange peel and sloppy buffing were supposed to be down low from what I understand like the front/rear valence bottom lips, etc..- Top
