If I purchase the tank sticker from the Corvette museum is it the value as the original?

I am going to assUme your question relates to a 1993 because you referenced that car in another post. If I am wrong please tell us what year Corvette you are referring to.
What you will get from the Corvette Museum for a 1993 Corvette will be a build sheet. It will document what options (the build of the car) the Corvette was equipped with as it left the factory. I am not so sure about C4s, but at some point in Corvette production there was multiple build sheets used in producing the unit. IF that is true of C4s (I know it is of C6s, but that is a long way from 1993) there was no "original" build sheet, but rather there were multiples. One or more may have been placed in various locations in the car. On C4s I have heard of a chassis location for one; as an example. Those placed in the car are problematic as they may not be retrievable, or if they are they may not be legible.
My thought is to go for what you can get while you can get it. Many of us would love to have any documentation as to how our Corvette was built, but we are out of luck.Terry -

I have the copy of my build sheet as noted in my folder on all my documentation . Found in frame under power steering pump 01-1994 Folded in half and shows a lot of wear and tear but readable!Comment
