    64' engine code question

    My engine code # is fi008sk f for flint io for sept ? 08 8th day sk auto-air

    is there just 1 letter for the month ? If so why is there two 0 in the number ? Any help will be appreciated.

    I0 08 equals October 8
    Flint used upper case I for 1

      John, If Im reading it correctly FI008SK, F = Flint, I used in place of a 1 so I0 = months 10, 08 = 8th day, Sk = 250hp A/C with Powerglide.

      Your engine was built October 8th, 1964.
