I'm not positive, and I can't locate them on our car right now, but as a WAG, don't they get placed inside the hollow void of the rear quarter 'flying buttresses' as a sound barrier/deadener?

Yes that is where they go in front of the rear wheel well and behind the rear door jam.

Thanks guys. I keep forgetting the year, body style, accessories, etc. that make figuring this stuff out so much easier. Thanks for coming through once again despite my failings!
