67' big block brake proportioning valve plug wire routing;under or over clutch rod?

Does this tan/brown wire go underneath or on top of the clutch rod? I know the main engine harness wire (passenger side) goes underneath as it exits the firewall.

Tan wire goes on top of the clutch rod and there a metal clip that branches off with the front lights harness system.

...can't answer your question, but the base brake system just had a differential pressure switch that would light the "brake" light if one side wouldn't hold pressure. Only the J-56 system had a prop. valve, and it was adjustable.

The pressure differential switch Tan wire is routed above the clutch pedal rod.

However, the wire routing is misleading in the AIM. See UPC 12 A10 below. It shows it coming from beyond and left of the bulkhead connector firewall area and further along the harness and held in place by a firewall harness clip. It also shows the tan wire held to the harness with tape. I've not seen these features on original or reproduction harnesses.

The PDS Tan wire comes through the panel bulkhead connector. Prior to 1967, this bulkhead connector pin location was used for the Starter Solenoid Violet "Crank" wire. In 1967 the Violet wire exits the Main Harness through the large firewall grommet along with the Wiper Motor and Ignition wire bundle. There it connects to a mating connector in the Engine/Forward harness to the starter solenoid, or to the Powerglide Neutral Safety switch if equipped.
