Original owner of my 1960 Fuelie (I'm the second owner), in the parking lot at Snowbasin Utah where he was a ski instructor. He ordered the car in Nov 1959, and took delivery in Feb 1960. The car was never garage kept until he put it away in a barn in Grand County Colorado with 94,000 miles in 1973. I purchased and restored the car in 1989 and took the owner and his wife for a ride at the 1995 Steamboat Regional. I still have the car in Winter Park, CO, but don't use it to carry skis anymore.

The pictures below are not exactly the original owner but the second owner (me) in about 1975 just out of college as freshly minted engineer. The story about this car is contained in an article (link below) in the NCRS-OK Newsletter under my byline titled Corvette Adventure Part 8....I become a little depressed everytime I read it.

You posted a picture of the car with the plate showing on this site a month or so ago. I instantly knew what it meant, but some others needed help.
Perhaps my years-ago job in metallurgical research helped me. I failed chemistry back in my first try at college, so I am sure that is no help.

LOL, there seems to be no consistency in background for who gets it. A friend, PhD Materials guy, didn't get it. "Well, if the 'B' was lowercase I'da got it!"

A space would make it easier for people also.

I am looking forward to the 2020 Convention. The year of the 1970 in French Lick, (I wonder if people will inquire about that one...Inquiring minds can look it up on the Interweb.) Indiana. I am already planning for it with the car. I recognize the similarity, and the differences.

No space in Massachusetts. No punctuation, either...

French Lick! OMG, been there twice. Stayed at The Larry Bird Boston Connection, once even in the Red Auerbach Suite. It overlooked the dumpster, which was emptied about 4:30AM... That's a 1000 miles I'm not likely to cover.

I have a historic connection to West Baden. I will have to stay there again in 2020. I think there is a Regional coming up in Mass in 2019. Bring your car -- even if it is only in the parking lot. I want to see it. I can't see bringing mine there, but that is a ways off.
