C2 Chassis Judging PowerPoint Slides - Gary Bennett and Jim Rand

The C2 Chassis Judging PowerPoint Slides from Gary Bennett and Jim Rand are outstanding. I took several notes at Frisco and later found the associated MS Excel file with "speaker's comments". Thanks for sharing this great presentation with the Michigan chapter and others.

I do wonder if anyone has moved all or part of the comments from the MS Excel file... to any other place, such as the bottom of the PPT slides?
If so, let me know please. I know Mike Hanley of the St. Louis chapter, is considering this also.

    THANKS!

Your judging chair for your chapter should have the presentation. It was presented and handed out at the Nationals this year if your judging chair was there.

I suspect if you contact Gary or Jim, they can provide the slides.

saving the powerpoint in pdf format would allow a powerpoint with pictures to be posted?

Re: C2 Chassis Judging PowerPoint Slides - Gary Bennett and Jim Rand

As I understand, these files were handed out with the direction that chapters could use in local judging schools. Judging school attendees commonly get a judging point for going to such an event. In my opinion, posting them here would by pass the point award process.

In addition to that, the format is such that the photos in powerpoint should be interpreted using the associated MS Excel file. Helping that "association process" is the reason I started this discussion. In other words, you need the MS Excel file to go with the powerpoint pictures.

On the other hand, these files (together) might be appropriate for the "list of links" maintained by Rich Mozzetta. Please see that discussion at:

As I said at the start of this: I wonder if anyone has moved all or part of the comments from the MS Excel file... to any other place, such as the bottom of the PPT slides?

I have since moved most of the 1963-1965 comments from the MS Excel file to the bottom text area... on many of the .ppt slides. I can view and print these below the images using the "Notes Page" view. My presentation (Part I = '63-'65) is scheduled for 1/27 at 1:00 PM in Auburn Hills, MI. (Mich. Chapter Judging School - Last Sunday in Jan., 2019)

I have even more respect now for Gary Bennett and Jim Rand. THANKS AGAIN!

I am planning to have my ‘64 fuelie judged in May at our chapter meet. Do you have contact info for Gary or Jim? Not sure we have this at the Oklahoma Chapter at this point. I would dearly love to have the presentation before my car is judged.
                        Patrick,

I would expect Russ Grimm has Oklahoma Chapter's thumb drive copy. I plan to use Gary and Jim's presentation for a Midway USA Judging School - expect Russ intends something similar for Oklahoma Chapter. Slides need narrative information transcribed on them for us non experts. I appreciate Gary Bennett and Jim Rand's monumental efforts putting this together.

I was looking for this too, for a judging school at our chapter, but can't find any information on where the slides are. Any idea?

Contact your Judging Chairman as they should have it.

I am the chapter judging chairman, and attended the national and Frisco meets, but didn't have a chance to attend their school. I have heard nothing about all this before this thread. I guess I will just email Jim and ask him for them.
