Thanks guys. The Paragon spacer looks the same, just like a garden hose gasket. I just can't get the the clip on without removing the spacer. There's not much room to operate, and the clip groove is barely visible without the spacer.- Top

Mine is a 67, and I don't remember any spacer in it when I disassembled it a few years ago. I got worried about it when I saw it in the Paragon catalog and the assembly manual.

My 67 had the spacer and when after a restoration of the wiper motor I replaced it with a new one. NO problems installing anything.
