Rivet direction

I am installing the rebound straps on my 59, and I do not know the direction of the rivets.I have heard the peaned ends face each other? Thank you in advance for any help. Jeff

Jeff - this is a photo of an original car taken from the rear of the car. Does this help ?

WOW! Thank you Mark! So it looks like the rivet heads would face the front of the car? the picture is great! I also need to install my rear brake lines and I do not know if the rear wheel cylinder holes(where the lines go in) face the rear or front. Could you maybe get a pic of that too

Jeff, my 62 has the break lines to the rear also 61-62 judging guide stated the rivet heads face the rear ? Ed

Ed, I see where the JM says the rivets are inserted rear to front. It looks like Mark's rivets are inserted front to rear?

Also some originals had them that way but all replacements to be per jug . Ed
