    Refresh my memory, please...

It's approaching time to replace the convertible top on my 1967; it's the original top on it. I plan on buying an Al Knoch top if they're still the recommended one; please let me have your opinion on this. Anyway, many years ago I remember reading that a slightly larger C2 top is available for a better installation; it was called the "Ferguson Design" or maybe something else.

Is this still available or is it even a concern any longer? I've searched the archives for the last hour and haven't found anythin; I hope that this isn't a figment of my imagination. Thank you for your help.

Your thinking of the Kendeny pattern top. He is the one who passed some time back. I am not sure if they still make and sell it.

At least now I know I'm not crazy! I'm so old that dirt was a new thing when I was young....

Unfortunately our good friend, Brent Ferguson also passed away. Both of them were Good Men.

I don't know about C2s but I ordered a top from Al Knoch for my 57 and it was too short and only found out when we tried to latch it. Tried all of the adjustment and no go. I spoke with Al personally about it after reading it was a common problem on the corvetteforum but Al would not admit to it being common or their mistake but did agree to replace the top with more material at no cost to me. I don't know why they don't just change their manufacturing to include a little more material.

Mike is referring to John Kennedy (from St Lake City) the long time NCRS convertible top adviser. He was a great guy and the best at convertible tops, ask for the "Kennedy cut" from Al Knock and I think you will get the best for install and judging. Don H.
