A 67 on Bring a Trailer shows a tank sticker with no tire option. I assume that it would mean that it came with Black walls right? I have never saw a window or tank sticker for black walls so inquiring minds want to know. Coupe is 390 4-speed 3:70 posi & radio.

Re: 67 tank & window stickers
I understand that black walls were standard but have never saw a tank or window sticker that didn't show a tire. if you ordered a standard rear end & gear did it show on the stickers or was that blank also. Wonder what a basic dealer bait & switch Corvette sticker would look like with no options. Was it completely blank on the option list.I looked at a 69 that was a no option one but didn't see a sticker.65 350 TI CONV 67 J56 435 CONV,67,390/AIR CONV,70 454/air CONV,

Re: 67 tank & window stickers
Ken,
I should have been clearer. In my opinion, no indication of tires was made on the tank sheet if blackwalls were the tires going on that car. THe only time the tank sheet would have a tire designation is when a redline or whitestripe was ordered. ARA- Top

Re: 67 tank & window stickers
Throughout history window stickers have changed. Often in later years they would show (preprinted on the blank sheet) many of the standard features on the top or along the sides usually with safety equipment. However usually the things printed on the sheet for the individual car showed the model number, V.I.N., exterior and interior colors, and the options. If it did not have an optional tire nothing would be shown. Standard equipment that was deleted such as a heater would show on the sheet and if there was a credit it too was shown.- Top
