Who has the best top surround out there and the quickest lead time. Corvette Imagine, Lee Bumb Composities / Sermersheim’s, or there is a new place in Virginia Beach, don’t know the name but have seen his ad on EBay. Just need the top only.

I believe you mean Corvette Image (not Imagine). When I was looking for a surround several credible sources pointed me to Corvette Image. The lead time at both vendors mentioned is not great but you'll have to call IMO to get an actual estimate. You'll hear a lot about the problems CI had in the past with their panels and paint problems but that has long since been resolved. It left a bad enough taste in some restorers' minds that they still want use their products to this day...

Gary, I still have one of the later version GM upper surrounds, black glass I believe in the box, never been out standing right where I put it 25 years ago, I'm never going to use it at this point so pm me if you are interested. I have no idea of value so that will take some discussion unless someone knows.

Selling price today on those surround panels is in the 1500-2000 range. Those panels sold for $93.00 in the 70's!!!!

I've seen the Corvette Masters (Tom, Virginia Beach area) upper surround at Carlisle, and am impressed with it. This is the one you are seeing on ebay. The backside looks the closed to an oem panel (I have a nos at home) and have seen them together on a bonded up nose. They usually have a stack of them at Corvettes at Carlisle, and would save shipping charges if you attend. I've asked if he is going to do the parking light panels, and he said they are in the future works. I'm waiting with baited breath!
