Rebuilt Speedometer for 78

My mechanic notified me that I need a new rebuilt speedometer. However, we've search on line in vain for a replacement - at a reasonable price. There are a few quality speedo shops where you can ship the head to them for repair. However, I'd prefer to not to have to take the dash apart and ship just the head. My preference is to leave the whole car and let one person take out, repair, test, and reinstall the unit.

Does anyone know a shop that does this work in the North Georgia Area?

Stay away from D&M Restoration . Had to have everything redone they did for me.They spay paint the outer cans instead of cadmium plating them.

Dan what is the problem with spray paint, other than originality? I've had D&M do some work for me and have been pleased by the results, at least for the gauge work. Their radio work def leads something to be desired.

You could ask Joe Ray if he still does instruments. He's often on this board, and has repaired some for friends of mine as well as restored a midyear gauge cluster for me.
