    1954 valve stems

    Anyone know where I can buy the correct valve stems for the 54 steel wheels.I bought some from ecklers they were to small for the valve stem whole. Thanks Bob W

      What's the size of the valve stem holes in your wheels?

          Valve stem assembly 273232 had installed length of 1.25" less cap. designed for Straight snap-in type .625 Dia. rim hole. Very commonly used on Corv. Pass cars, trucks etc.etc.

              The size of the hole that are in the rims 5/8 of an inch the other rims I have are 1/2 in but they are not correct for the 54

                  The GM #273232 that Bob mentions is the correct valve stem but they are discontinued and you'll probably have a difficult time locating any. I think the Patch Boy #TR415 is about as close as you'll come (www.patchboy.com).
