64 Alternator mounting and harness clocking

Guys I am working at a 64 300hp no A/C with the alternator mounted on the pass side, this is a 104xxx car sort of early, has anyone seen the alternator mounted on the pass. side? By the was the regulator is mount on the same side, looks to be all original, car has 60k on odometer. I don't have my JM in front of me, Or a 64 AIM. Also should the harness be clock like a 63 car. I was thinking it mounts on drivers side in 64 ???

On 1963-1965 Corvettes the alternator mounts on the passenger side without A.C. and mounts on the driver side with A.C.
I don't quite understand your question about the harness and the clock.

Dave thanks for the response, when referring to the clocking of harness, the wiring connector can plug in at 12/3/6/9 o'clock. thanks for the answer to which side the alternator mounts.
