      Get ahold of Noland's Book on C2 Restoration and then go to the 1966 and 1967 surveys. They show BB cast and built dates for a lot of cars thru- out the model years. There are some pretty good spreads shown.

      At least for the C2 years the BB engines were cast in batches and then later built in batches, so the interval can be short or long.......or somewhere in between.

      If the BB was a special engine (like California emissions, etc) this can also effect the date interval..........since they were not in as great demand.

      Just be thankful for what you do have.
