    65 Trim Tag Date

Above are the photos of my trim tag. I hd rep[orted that it was stamped G29 Feb 29th which did not exist in 65. However, looking closer it appears it was stamped over a two or Feb 22nd. The 22nd would make more sense since it appears the car was built on the 4th of March. Has this been seen before?

Bob, anything is possible in the world of Corvette cars built by GM.

Perhaps check again... could it possibly be a G22 & G23 combo?

            Rich,
it's an AOS body, TT body date precedes build date by about two weeks. And I think without any question the date says G23.

Thanks. I knew it was AO Smith, but completely forgot about the delay.

well lucky me had the heater core begin leaking. While I had the glove box out I was able to get a better photo. Guess it was G22 all along. Official build date 03/05
