What does the documentation in the "waranty cardstock folder" look like? This item is listed in the 4th addition of the 68-69 TIM&JG as being contained in the Owner's packet. I've completed an online search on this forum and in the archives and came up empty.

Re: Owner's Packet Warranty Cardstock Folder
Leonard,
Thanks for your reply. If you are correct then this is nothing more than the "Protect-o-Plate" which is not judged. The phrase "cardstock folder" doesn't mean much to me. I just ordered the 5th Ed of the 68-69 TIM&JG. Maybe it was changed in the new edition.- Top

Re: Owner's Packet Warranty Cardstock Folder
I've been judging for a while and I don't even look for the Protect-o-Plate since it is not judged anymore. It's a nice item to look at though if you have it. Don't know how other judges feel about this but this is what I do.- Top

Re: Owner's Packet Warranty Cardstock Folder
My understanding is that the presence of a PoP IS judged, but what is stamped into/onto the folder is NOT judged. So one can have a PoP from any GM vehicle of the appropriate era and get full points for that item.Terry- Top

Terry,
Quoting from my 5th Ed 70-72 TIM&JG pg. 41 (I'm getting my 6th Ed soon):
"3. Warranty Folder and Protect-o-Plates THESE ARE NOT JUDGED BUT INCLUDED HERE FOR INFORMATION..."
Your interpretation is interesting and deserves discussion. CNJ NCRS will have it's chapter meet tomorrow. What to do for INTERIOR judging?- Top

I hope you have the 8th Edition on the way because that is the most recent. That said I don't think there is significant differences in the judging of the Interior glove box items in the most recent JRM (Judging Reference Manual).
It has been quite a while since I judged Interior, so I would welcome input from those who judge Interior more often.
Where is my friend Patrick H?Terry- Top
