1963 Hood Hinge Comparison and Shims

Attached is a photo of two hood hinges (I have two of the one on the right but only one of the one on the left). You can see the differences in the fixed "washer" blades and the raised "dots" present on the one on the left compared to a flat surface of theone on the right. The location of the "A" symbols is also different. Does anyone know which one is correct for a 1963? I couldn't find anything in the judging manual other than color and finish.

I also have 4 shims, two of which only have a "P" on one side and two that have the number 3966709. The ones with the P appear to be the originals as they were not painted and have a slight bit of black overspray at the back edge (didn't take any pics of these).

Looks like an unrestored pair of the correct hindges are f/s on eBay;

Always confirm the anti-rattle spring washer is in good shape as these tend to break off in time.

The Manufacture stamping (the A code) is on the outside on one hinge and the inside on the other. Evidently they were embossed/stamped and then bent.
