Which wiper vacuum valve replacement

Need to replace leaking interlock valve under wiper arm on a 1969. Can't seem to find a GM NOS 5638487 but found two aftermarket repros carried by several suppliers. The cheapest on is offshore made, but I'm wary as research indicates these may be junk and not work properly. There is also a more expensive USA made unit that comes without the boot. Has anyone used one of these? Do you just remove the boot from the old original and put it on the new switch?

I recently replaced mine on my 69 with an American made part. I'm not sure if it is the same vendor as what you have seen and mine did come with a boot. It works perfectly and the vendor said it is guaranteed for life (I have no idea whose life that is but there it is).

I guess I'll go with the USA made part since I read nothing good on the offshore part. I'll be ordering from Paragon, but don't know who the manufacturer is, their website shows it with no boot, hopefully it will come with a boot on it.

I ordered mine from David Jacobs djacobs316@cox.net. It is not configured exactly as original- I'm not sure if the Paragon is either- but once mounted it is very difficult to see anyway and it did come with the boot.
