Sure!! The TIM&JG will confirm all that and more. The ‘following info on this 350/300 AT California ‘69 : 9/69 Build Date, block # 3970010 April of ‘69, Engine Suffix V0812HZ, Heads 3927186, Rochester Carb # 7040502, Alternator 884 w/ AC 9G29, Intake 3927184, Production Run 728517. Late ‘69 came equipped with early 70 parts ?
Anything built after August 1969 would have been a 1970 for all intents and purposes for all the parts suppliers. Trucks and full size Chevrolets were into 1970 production at that time so Camaro and Corvette were not going to change the rest of the Chevrolet line that has much greater production numbers.Terry- Top

Gregory------The ‘following info on this 350/300 AT California ‘69 : 9/69 Build Date, block # 3970010 April of ‘69, Engine Suffix V0812HZ, Heads 3927186, Rochester Carb # 7040502, Alternator 884 w/ AC 9G29, Intake 3927184, Production Run 728517. Late ‘69 came equipped with early 70 parts ?
My original owner 1969 300/350 was built in September, 1969. It was originally built with the carburetor it was supposed to have-----a Rochester GM #7029203. Of course, a THM-equipped car would have used a different carburetor and, I suppose, it's possible that carburetor ran short in late 1969.
Late 1969's definitely used some 1970 components. However, I'm surprised yours would have had a 1970 carburetor. 1970 carburetors were designed and calibrated for the CCS exhaust emission control system used for all 1970 Corvettes with Rochester carburetors. No 1969 Corvettes used the CCS system. So, it surprises me that a 1970 carburetor would have been used on a 1969.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
