Re: Ink stamping spark plug wires
You are correct...
I am going to do the same so I can run GOOD wires, tired of paying through the nose for wires which break down after a couple of years, I was wondering if I should make the dates changeable since I have multiple year models.James A Groome

Re: Ink stamping spark plug wires
Gary,I’m thinking about ink stamping spark plug wires made up from Packard 440 wire for my ’66 L79. Does anyone have a recommendation for a retailer that can make me a custom ink stamp based on a font, font size and inter-letter spacing that I specify?
I plan on using the stamping from a Lectric Limited repro wire as my model, since I assume those wires judge fine? Or am I wrong?
Gary
Have you tried contacting Hobby Lobby? I have had them make me custom rubber stamps in the past. May be worth a call.Leif

Re: Ink stamping spark plug wires
Check your local phone book. There are companies that make custom stamps for various people. I've had many stamps made for myself. All you need to do is supply a digital file of what you want, size, font, etc.
If you want to try ordering... I use ANDERSON STAMP & ENGRAVING (864) 271-6730 in Greenville SC- Top

Re: Ink stamping spark plug wires
Vinnie,
Thanks. I've already been talking with Mike about this project.
For the life of me, I don't know why no vendor sells reliable plug wires made from Packard 440 that pass judging.
