C2 Radiator overflow hose diameter

I was told at the Regional in Marlboro that the overflow hose on my car was to thick. I purchased it at LICC. Can anyone tell me what the diameter is on their hoses and where they purchased it.

Jerry, I have a original surge tank hose I will look later and post for you, I think you maybe referring to the hose from tank to the top of Radiator?? The overflow hose is thin walled hose that if original is likely folded over at he tank as the bend is pretty sharpe.

Were the judges talking about the outer diameter of your hose? Or the wall thickness? Being "too thick" doesn't answer that question.

Gary,

They (I think) were referring to the overall diamenter because they couldn't look inside the hose. Unless, they could tell "just by feel"

Jerry, It was the balance hose between the supply tank and the top of the radiator.

I guess I could have been more clear in my discussion question. It is the hose between the supply tank and the radiator. As I mentioned, I purchased it from LICC and thought it would be correct.

I'm guessing that Dr. Rebuild will have the correct diameter hose.
